About school meals
Twelve15 is committed to providing school children with tasty, well balanced and healthy meals.
Our menus follow the Government guidelines for school food standards in England.
Making a difference
Drawing upon its wealth of experience, Twelve15 provides meals to meet the culinary and nutritional requirements of our primary and secondary school learners in order to optimally support their health, wellbeing and learning.
We concentrate on the provenance of our quality ingredients, sourcing locally whenever possible; alongside reducing salt and sugar in our recipes. We refresh our menus every six month and provide varied three-week menu rotations.
Our meals are developed to appeal to pupils; we bear in mind the favourites but like to sneak in some healthy twists:
- our popular beefburger is made from 40% Red tractor certifiable beef and 60% is made up of carrots, onions, cannellini beans and butter beans.
- our fresh pork meatballs are fortified with 20% carrots
- our freshly prepared pizza dough contains 20% carrot and courgette to boost nutrient density
- our chocolate brownie contains the superfood beetroot which has substantial health benefits, it is a reduced sugar recipe.

Schools offer at least two daily choices, some offer three so there are options. Menus are available in advance so you can discuss the food with your child and help reassure them.
Being with peers can also help your child discover new foods and be encouraged to try.
We think that is unlikely! However, you can switch between the two. Why not give them a go?
